Service description

Volume Shader provides a local browser GPU benchmark plus a WebGL compatibility checker. The service may change its renderer, scoring method, interface, guidance, or availability.

Acceptable use

Use the service only on devices you are authorized to test. Do not use the site to disrupt shared systems, evade device policies, misrepresent benchmark results, automate abusive traffic, or interfere with service delivery.

Device safety

GPU tests can increase power use, heat, fan activity, and input lag. Prepare the device, keep the observation brief, and stop if it becomes unusually hot or unstable. Users are responsible for deciding whether a device is appropriate to test.

Benchmark interpretation

Results are informational. They depend on the exact page version, browser, viewport, camera view, driver, power mode, thermal condition, display refresh rate, and background activity. Scores are comparable only within this implementation under matched conditions.

No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation, compatibility, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by applicable law, the operator is not responsible for indirect loss, lost data, lost profit, device downtime, or decisions based solely on a benchmark result. Local consumer rights that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.

Third-party names and projects

Browser, operating system, GPU, and device names appear for compatibility context only. Volume Shader is independent of those companies and of other benchmark operators unless a relationship is explicitly stated. Publicly visible third-party source without a declared repository license is not represented here as licensed open-source code.

A contact address and governing operator details will be added before the production domain is launched.
